Chester have signed much-travelled striker Drewe Broughton on a two-year deal from Rushden & Diamonds.
Chester will become Broughton's ninth Football League club
The 27-year-old has scored 46 league goals in 252 appearances for eight different clubs.
He began as a trainee with Norwich, before spells with Wigan, Brentford, Peterborough, Kidderminster, Southend, Rushden & Diamonds (twice) and Wycombe.
He also had three separate loan stints in the Conference - for Nuneaton, Dagenham & Redbridge and Stevenage.
Broughton scored 10 goals in 37 games for Rushden last season, but also collected two red and nine yellow cards.
