Cheltenham Town have signed Leicester City winger Jonny Hayes on a one-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old joined the Robins on trial last week and featured for the club's reserve side.
Cheltenham manager Martin Allen told the club website: "On his game and on his day he [Hayes] is certainly a dangerous player."
Hayes was part of the squad defeated 2-0 by Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park on Tuesday.
The winger, who becomes Allen's ninth signing, was spotted playing for Dublin club Cherry Orchard and has represented the Republic of Ireland from under-16 to under-21 level.
He joined Leicester from Reading in June 2007 but has made only five first-team appearances for the Foxes.
He spent three months on loan at Northampton Town last season but has failed to feature in the Leicester first-team since Nigel Pearson took over as manager in the summer.
