Sinclair has played 15 times for Cheltenham in two different spells
Midfielder Dean Sinclair has returned to Charlton after his second loan spell at Cheltenham expired.
The 23-year-old played just three games in his latest month at Whaddon Road, all of which the Robins lost.
"I haven't really seen him play much, although I saw him play for Barnet and he did very well," new manager Martin Allen told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"At the moment there's different areas I've got to look at to try and strengthen," he added.
Sinclair first had a spell on loan at Whaddon Road last season before suffering an ankle injury.
He is the first player to leave Cheltenham since Allen took over on Monday.
