Baker paid tribute to the efforts of manager Keith Downing, who made the step up from assistant manager when John Ward departed for Carlisle early in the season.
"Everyone's given blood, sweat and tears for this club from the top down. Keith Downing's been superb for us, I'm delighted for him and for everyone associated with the club.
"It's so important to stay up, we've done it and we've left it late but who cares?"
