Robins win delights Taylor
New Cheltenham striker Bob Taylor

Veteran striker Bob Taylor is delighted to have got off the mark for new club Cheltenham Town.

The prolific Taylor is now just five goals away from 200 in league football after marking his full debut for the Robins with a brace in Saturday's 4-1 win at Leyton Orient.

"I'm really enjoying playing first-team football, and it's nice to score a couple of goals as well," Taylor told the club's official website.

"Personally it's a great start for me. I've done a few interviews and said I've come to a club with a reputation, but reputations win nothing and I have a new set of fans to win over.

"It was nice to do that, but it was important to get three points.

"We haven't had the best of starts but that win puts us back amongst the pack now.

"This makes it two wins on the trot now and once you can start a little run going it always helps you."

Taylor joined Cheltenham on a free transfer after leaving West Brom in the summer.
