Chelsea have denied claims by Real Madrid presidential candidate Ramon Calderon that winger Arjen Robben has agreed a move to Spain.
Robben insists he is happy to stay at Stamford Bridge
Calderon alleged that Robben has signed a pre-contract agreement and will join Real if he wins the elections.
But the Blues insist the 22-year-old Dutchman will stay at Stamford Bridge.
A statement read: "Chelsea totally refutes statements made by Ramon Calderon linking Arjen Robben with a move to Real Madrid."
It continued: "We have not spoken to Senor Calderon or any of his representatives and categorically deny the suggestion that an agreement, on any level, has been reached."
Robben has signed a contract with us
Calderon has also claimed that AC Milan's Brazilian midfielder Kaka would be joining Robben at the Bernabeu next season.
Calderon has been quoted as saying: "Robben has signed a contract with us.
"I have no doubt at all that Kaka will come to play for Madrid. I am delighted that he is coming."
The allegations come less than 24 hours after another candidate, Juan Villar Mir, said Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo was ready to join the club - should he win the forthcoming elections.
But the Old Trafford club have strongly denied this.
Speculation has been mounting that Robben may be set to leave the Premiership champions.
Robben failed to command a regular first-team spot last season and faces stiff competition for a wide midfield role with Joe Cole, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Damien Duff.
And boss Jose Mourinho has also hinted at a change of system to accommodate new signing Michael Ballack - as part of either a three-man central midfield or the diamond formation.
