Nevin says Chelsea's defence has been key to their success.
"They just haven't had problems defensively. The spine of Petr Cech in goal, John Terry at centre-back and Claude Makelele in front has worked well," he says.
"If Ashley Cole joins, you've got real power from left-back. He'll bomb forward and Makelele will cover - and he's the best in the business at doing that.
"They're so tough to break down because they're not desperate to get men forward. A 1-0 win is plenty for Chelsea, it'll do fine. And I don't think there will be great changes next year."
