Mourinho vows not to be silenced
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho remains defiant as he waits for the Football Association to decide whether to punish him for comments about Lee McCulloch.

Mourinho called the Wigan player "a cheat" after his side's 1-0 win but insists he will not be silenced.

"Everyone has a right to an opinion. I can arrive in England and express my opinion," Mourinho said.

"It is important to have an opinion and not be afraid to express it, knowing there will be criticism."

The Chelsea boss submitted an explanation for his comments to the FA this week and the governing body will now decide whether to take action.

Last season, Mourinho was fined 5,000 for calling Manchester United "cheats" after their Carling Cup semi-final.

The Portuguese coach was also handed a touchline ban by Uefa after accusing referee Anders Frisk of colluding with Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard during their Champions League tie.

Mourinho has also developed frosty relations with Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger.

He called Wenger a "voyeur" earlier this season and then refused to shake the Frenchman's hand last weekend after Chelsea's 2-0 win at Highbury.
