Robben defuses Blues row reports
Chelsea winger Arjen Robben
Arjen Robben has played down any doubts over his commitment to Chelsea.

The Dutch winger was alleged to have refused to start against Liverpool on Wednesday as he did not feel fully fit after an ankle injury.

But he says he will do all he can to play in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against the Reds.

"I aggravated it a bit on Wednesday," he said. "Hopefully, I can recover quick enough and I will do everything to be fit again on Tuesday."

Robben played last Saturday when he came on in the second half against Fulham and he was influential in helping Chelsea to a 2-1 win.

But he produced a tame display in his second half outing against Liverpool on Wednesday and was not in the squad in the victory over Bolton which secured the Premiership title.

He added: "I came back very quickly after this injury and we knew there was a little risk. I knew I was not 100% for the last two games."
