Chelsea do not attend postmatch interviews and complain that they saw referee Anders Frisk and Barca boss Frank Rijkaard talking.

Mourinho breaks his silence Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho remains incensed by talk of Frisk and Rijkaard talking in the tunnel during the break at the Nou Camp. He stokes the fires by accusing Rijkaard of lying when he says he did not go into Frisk's dressing room and predicts that Pierluigi Collina considered the world's best referee will officiate for the second leg.

Frisk quits football Frisk announces his retirement from football with immediate effect following a number of threats aimed at him and his family. Earlier in the season he had also been involved in an incident during Roma's Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev when he was hit by an object thrown from the crowd and called the game off.
