Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been accused of using the excuses he made in Portugal when his team fails to win.
Mourinho's predecessor at Porto, Octavio Machado, said Mourinho blamed everyone but himself for bad results.
Machado told the Daily Star: "When his team do not win he always blames referees and opponents, saying their behaviour is too defensive.
"How many times did he use this tactic in Portugal? It is rare he considers he is the man responsible."
Machado's accusation comes in the wake of Mourinho's blast at Tottenham - after they gained a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge with a solid defensive display on Sunday.
Mourinho accused Spurs of negative tactics and time-wasting through play-acting and substitutions.

Machado added: "Mourinho knows very well how to use the press.
"By using the press he puts a lot of pressure on the referees and the opponents.
"He always had problems with players and football agents and shows no respect to other coaches."
Chelsea were held to a goalless draw at Aston Villa in their previous Premiership match and Machado stated: "Nobody in Portugal was expecting he could lose points in two games in a row.
"I don't know what the English think of him but everyone realises he must do better at Chelsea."
