Bosnich appeals again
Former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Bosnich
Bosnich only judge lodged his appeal in time
Mark Bosnich has launched an appeal against the Premier League ruling that he was not unfairly dismissed by Chelsea.

The Premiership club sacked after Bosnich he tested positive for cocaine and the Premier League upheld Chelsea's decision.

The Australian goalkeeper, 31, had a seven-day period to appeal against the Premier League's decision.

And he notified them of his intention to do so just hours before that timeframe expired.

Bosnich, who reportedly claims he failed the drugs test because a drink had been spiked without his knowledge, will have his appeal heard within the next fortnight.

It will be heard by a four-man Football League appeals committee, chaired by a lawyer and including representatives from the Premier League, Professional Footballers' Association and League Managers Association.

Bosnich also faces a possible year-long ban from football.

The former Aston Villa and Manchester United goalkeeper failed to attend a personal hearing at the Football Association, which adjourned the matter in his absence.
