London-born Pardew has been Charlton boss since 2006
Charlton Athletic manager Alan Pardew is seeking to make a couple of loan signings to bolster his squad.
Earlier this week Pardew allowed midfielder Darren Ambrose to make an initial two-month loan switch to Ipswich Town in order to free up funds.
"I'm still trying to sort the right price for the right type of player," he said. "It's an ongoing situation."
Pardew had been hoping to have the players in place ahead of Saturday's clash against Birmingham City.
Charlton, who sit 20th in the Championship, have endured a difficult season so far with a small group of supporters even calling for Pardew to be sacked during the club's 3-1 home defeat to Barnsley.
