Bailey confident of Addicks form

Charlton midfielder Nicky Bailey is not downbeat despite the Addicks' inconsistent start to the season.

Athletic are 14th after Saturday's 2-1 win over Ipswich and Bailey told BBC London 94.9: "No-one is going to win ten games in a row in this league.

"[We should not] become despondent with some of the results we've had because we've only lost them by the odd goal. We've always been in the games.

"We just have to keep on going and hopefully pick up some good results."

The 24-year-old added: "If you're not winning games the crowd aren't going to be with you.

"You've got to go out there and show them that you want to win and you can win games."
