Charlton assistant manager Phil Parkinson has signed a new contract with the club.
Parkinson arrived at the Valley in January
The 39-year-old agreed to take over at Huddersfield last week only to make a dramatic U-turn and he has now committed his future to the Addicks.
"I am pleased to have signed a new contract," said Parkinson. "I am now looking forward to staying in the Premiership this season."
Parkinson's new deal will keep him at Charlton until 2010.
The former Hull and Colchester manager was appointed in January to work under new manager Alan Pardew.
