Charlton sign Peacock
Peacock realises a boyhood dream to play for Charlton
Charlton have signed QPR midfielder Gavin Peacock on a three-month loan deal
with a view to a permanent move.
The 33-year-old will now get the chance to play for the side he supported as a boy after Alan Curbishley was forced to combat a pre-season injury crisis. And the former Chelsea player will team up with his father, Addicks assistant manager Keith Peacock. "The reason behind the move is the current injury situation at the club," Curbishley told Charlton's website. "But I also have no doubt about Gavin's quality as a player. "He has vast experience and has played at the highest level. He also views this as an excellent chance to get back into Premiership football."
