By Andy Campbell

2209: Well, that's it from me. Thank you for all your contributions and join us again at the weekend for more live coverage of Scottish football.

2202: The focus will return to domestic matters now for Celtic with St Johnstone their opponents in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday.

2159: In the evening's other Group I match, Atletico Madrid beat Rennes 3-1. The Spanish side finish as group winners, Udinese also qualify in second position, Celtic end third and Rennes are bottom.

2157: The match ends and Celtic are out of Europe. A very good performance by Neil Lennon's side but they could not find the winning goal that would have kept them in the Europa League.

Full time
2156: FULL-TIME Udinese 1-1 Celtic

2156: Charlie Mulgrew's inswinging delivery misses everyone and drifts out. It looks like it's going to finish 1-1.

2155: And now another corner...

2155: It's the final minute and Celtic have a corner. Goalkeeper Fraser Forster comes forward to boost the attack.

2153: The match enters two minutes of injury time.

2152: Celtic have a corner and the ball bobbles around the box before Daniel Majstorovic flicks on a header and there is a shout for handball against an Udinese defender but there is no sound of the referee's whistle.

2149: James Forrest flashes a shot wide from around 30 yards. Celtic now have five minutes to find a winner.

Twitter
jockSwizz has tweeted using the hashtag #bbcsportsound: "Foster's performance is reminiscent of David Marshall against Barcelona..."

2146: Antonio Di Natale curls a shot well over as Mohamed Bangura comes on for Celtic, Georgios Samaras coming off.

2144: Incredible goalkeeping from Fraser Forster. Daniel Mastorovic fails to clear and Antonio Di Natale is clean through but his curving shot is palmed away by the Celtic goalkeeper. The ball is returned from the right and Di Natale's downward header is again blocked by Forster.

2143: There's just over 10 minutes plus stoppage time to go. Is there to be a winner?

Yellow card
2140: Cha Du-Ri takes out Pablo Armero as Udinese break and the Celtic player is booked. It looked as though the full-back had previously been cautioned but there is no red card. Perhaps the referee had indeed booked Scott Brown earlier in the match, rather than Cha.

2139: Celtic continue to press and James Forrest plays in Anthony Stokes on the edge of the box and he claims his shot on the turn is deflected wide but there is no corner for the visitors.

Someone has struck the woodwork
2138: Celtic come so close to taking the lead as Charlie Mulgrew's throw-in is headed up into the air and Cha Du-Ri's volley strikes the post, hits Samir Handanovic and is then claimed on the line by the goalkeeper.

2135: Excellent chance missed for Udinese. A series of one-twos ends with a low cross into the box and Kwadwo Asamoah has a tap-in to score but his effort nicks the post on its way out.

2134: Celtic make their first substitution with Beram Kayal withdrawn and Anthony Stokes sent on from the bench.

2133: Antonio Di Natale scoops the ball over from the left-hand side of the Celtic penalty area and, moments later, Almen Abdi's shot is deflected just wide of Fraser Forster's goal.

"Celtic could lift it in the last 10-15 minutes, just have a go." BBC Sportsound pundit Murdo MacLeod at the Stadio Friuli

2131: Celtic have got just under 23 minutes to find a winner.

2128: Forster is called into action again, this time diving to his left to hold a low Kwadwo Asamoah shot.

2126: Antonio Di Natale drives at the Celtic defence and belts in a shot that is beaten away by Fraser Forster. The ball is recycled into the box and Mauricio Isla's header is blocked by Forster.

Yellow card
2124: Celtic start to put Udinese under pressure and win a corner but the short corner routine is quickly cleared and Scott Brown is penalised. However, there seems to be a case of mistaken identity as Cha Du-Ri is the player booked.

2121: Udinese press down the right and Antonio Di Natale peels away to get in a shot but Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic blocks well.

"Celtic are getting more and more of the ball in this second half." BBC Sportsound pundit Murdo MacLeod at the Stadio Friuli

2115: Udinese turn defence into attack very quickly and Kwadwo Asamoah blazes a shot wide from outside the box.

2113: Charlie Mulgrew takes the free-kick and his shot gets past the wall but is then booted clear.

Yellow card
2112: James Forrest is felled after skipping away from Danilo and the Udinese defender is booked for the trip.

2109: Udinese get the second half underway.

2108: The teams are back out on the pitch and Udinese are making a second substitution with Mauricio Isla coming on for Thierry Doubai.

2103: Second half coming up in a few minutes.

"They were caught ball watching there and that could be crucial." BBC Sportsound pundit Willie McStay on Celtic losing a goal just before half-time

2053: It's level at the break and that goal just before the break has turned the match back in Udinese's favour, with the Italians only needing a draw to reach the knock-out rounds. Celtic need to find another goal at the Stadio Friuli if they are to stand any chance of progressing.

Half time
2053: HALF-TIME Udinese 1-1 Celtic

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Udinese are level and Celtic will be disappointed with the manner of the goal. A hopeful ball into the box is headed down by Kwadwo Asamoah to Antonio Di Natale, who fires in a volley that Fraser Forster can only get a hand to.

2051: GOAL Udinese 1-1 Celtic (Di Natale)

2050: There will be two minutes of stoppage time.

2049: Just a couple of minutes until half-time and Udinese are pinning Celtic back.

2048: It is now 2-0 to Atletico Madrid against Rennes, Alvaro Dominguez netting the second goal.

2045: Georgios Samaras continues to cause the Udinese defence problems and his latest run ends with Celtic winning a corner but again the delivery, this time by Ki Sung-Yueng, is poor.

2044: In tonight's other Group I fixture, Atletico Madrid have just taken the lead against Rennes through Radamel Falcao's penalty. Atletico have, of course, already qualified for the next round.

2043: Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster has to be alert at his near post to hold a fierce drive from Thierry Doubai from the left.

2040: Another Charlie Mulgrew free-kick for Celtic comes to nothing and Udinese break but Antonio Di Natale is caught offside again.

2039: The hosts and their fans are frustrated when the offside flag goes up against Antonio Di Natale just inside the penalty area.

Twitter
gerrycampbell69 has tweeted using the hashtag #bbcsportsound: "just wonderful... thank you messrs #Hooper and #Samaras... great game so far"

2036: Udinese have made an injury-enforced change with Giampiero Pinzi on for Agyemang-Badu and the home side now need to score to stay in the competition.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Celtic lead in Italy. Georgios Samaras's cross is beaten away by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic but the ball ricochets back off a defender giving Gary Hooper a tap-in.

2034: GOAL Udinese 0-1 Celtic (Hooper)

2032: Antonio Di Natale threatens again as fires in a shot on the turn but Fraser Forster makes a fine diving save.

"You'd have put a few bob on Hooper to score from there. Very disappointing finish." BBC Sportsound Murdo MacLeod at the Stadio Friuli

2028: Celtic miss the best chance of the match so far. Georgios Samaras slips a superb pass in behind the Udinese defence for Gary Hooper, who has only the keeper to beat from the right-hand side of the box, but the striker drags his shot wide.

2026: Udinese exert some pressure and Kwadwo Asamoah fires in a low shot that is held by Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

2024: Charlie Mulgrew's delivery is cleared but the ball breaks for James Forrest and his shot deflects off the referee and out for a goal kick.

Yellow card
2023: Another free-kick for Celtic, this time in a wide area after a handball and Udinese's Pablo Armero is booked for unsporting behaviour.

2022: Arsenal are the only away side to have won at the Stadio Friuli this season, the Gunners winning 2-1 to complete a 3-1 aggregate win in the Champions League qualifiers.

2019: An awkward bounce inside the Celtic box makes life difficult for Beram Kayal but Udinese are unable to take advantage and the ball eventually goes out for a goal kick.

2017: Excellent chance for Udinese. Celtic captain Scott Brown concedes possession in midfield and the ball is quickly moved forward to Antonio Di Natale who is one-on-one with goalkeeper Fraser Forster but the striker's flicked shot drifts wide.

Twitter
ryancavanagh22 has tweeted using the hashtag #bbcsportsound: "So far so good, five minutes in and no classic Celtic conceding an early goal."

2015: Charlie Mulgrew takes the free-kick but the defensive wall does its job and Udinese soon move the ball upfield.

2014: This time it is Samaras who is fouled and Celtic have a free-kick in a decent position.

2012: Moments after James Forrest flashes a shot wide of the Udinese goal, Celtic's Georgios Samaras bursts forward and gets into a shooting position but the Greek striker is adjudged to have fouled Larangera Danilo.

"Celtic are very offensive. They've got Samaras and Hooper up front." BBC Sportsound pundit Murdo MacLeod at the Stadio Friuli

Yellow card
2009: Celtic's Gary Hooper picks up an early booking for his challenge on Kwadwo Asamoah.

2008: Both sides just getting settled into the game. A few loose passes and nothing in the way of goalmouth action.

2006: And the match is underway.

2005: Celtic will kick-off.

2000: The players and officials are in the tunnel ready to make their way onto the pitch.

Twitter
MJWP_ has tweeted using the hashtag #BBCSportsound: "Hope we have a go tonight. Going for a winner in injury time for the hoops!"

1956: The other match in Group I is Atletico Madrid v Rennes and though the Spanish side have already qualified for the knock-out round, they have still to secure top spot in the group.

"Wherever I'm needed - wherever the manager thinks I play best, I'll play there - but it's important not to concede an early goal." Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew

Fernando in Cheltenham has text 80295 to say: "I just get the feeling that this might be one of those magical European nights for Celtic"

"We're on good form - we're off the back of six wins in a row in the league - confidence is good in the squad, albeit it wasn't the strongest Udinese team that came to Celtic Park. We played very were and we were unfortunate not to win the game. We'll treat it like a cup final - it's a great game to play in." Celtic manager Neil Lennon

Twitter
lyjo67 has tweeted using the hashtag #bbcsportsound: "watching your webpage at lunchtime at work in vancouver. Hoping for a win"

1946: Kelvin Wilson, who has been out injured for several weeks, is on the Celtic substitutes' bench.

Chris Lynch in East Kilbride has text 80295 to say: "Tough one tonight. Heart says yes but the head says no. Maybe an early Christmas present from Celtic?"

1937: Teams in full.
Udinese: Handanovic, Benatia, Danilo, Ekstrand, Basta, Agyemang-Badu, Asamoah, Doubai, Armero, Abdi, Di Natale. Subs: Padelli, Isla, Neuton, Fabbrini, Pereyra, Pinzi, Floro Flores.
Celtic: Forster, Cha, Majstorovic, Wanyama, Mulgrew, Brown, Kayal, Ki, Forrest, Samaras, Hooper. Subs: Zaluska, Kelvin Wilson, Stokes, Bangura, Toshney, George, Twardzik.
Referee: Michail Koukoulakis (Greece)

1935: A draw or a win for Udinese would guarantee them a place in the next round with Atletico Madrid already have secured qualification.

1934: Captain Scott Brown starts for Celtic after recent appearances off the bench and Victor Wanyama moves back into defence in place of the injured Glenn Loovens. Gary Hooper is the lone striker with Ki Sung-Yueng added to the midfield and Anthony Stokes left out. Udinese include star player Antonio Di Natale.

1933: It's the Group I finale and Celtic need to win in Italy to qualify for the knock-out stages.

1930: Good evening and welcome to live coverage of Udinese v Celtic.
