Nakamura doubt for Shakhtar tie

Shunsuke Nakamura was injured against Spartak Moscow

Celtic may be without Japan midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura for Wednesday's Champions League group match against Shakhtar Donetsk in Glasgow.

Nakamura is struggling to recover from the knee injury he suffered in the competition's qualifying round against Spartak Moscow in August.

It is feared that, as well as a ligament strain, the midfielder may have nerve damage.

Nakamura has been told to rest to help him recover fully.

He will definitely miss Saturday's Scottish Premier League clash with Aberdeen.
