Strachan said his side controlled the game

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan hailed his players after the 5-1 home win against St Mirren.
"I think we controlled the game. I felt that if we got two in the lead then the game would be finished," he said.
Strachan said he was delighted with the form of hat-trick hero Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink - adding that he was a positive influence on the team.
"Jan has presence. When you look across the tunnel and see him standing there you think 'he can play'," he said.
Strachan said the side "got a bit of a shock" when St Mirren equalised, but added that he was pleased with his side's response.
Kenny Miller ended his 15-game goal drought with the fifth goal at Celtic Park and Strachan said he was happy for the striker.
"Brilliant. I did warn him when he was going on not to take any penalties if there were any going," Strachan said.
"He had to get goals in other ways and he did, so that was good."
Strachan said he was looking to strengthen his squad despite Celtic's 20-point lead in the SPL.
