O'Neill hails Wallace
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill
Martin O'Neill was full of praise for Ross Wallace, who hit a hat-trick in the 8-1 CIS Cup demolition of Falkirk.

Wallace has been working with ex-Scotland and Nottingham Forest winger John Robertson on the training ground.

And O'Neill said: "Young Wallace got a hat-trick and he was great. If he ends up with half the career of Robertson then he will be pretty satisfied.

"They are totally different players but he takes things on board and he will have a great chance in the future."

Wallace added: "I never thought I would see the day when I got a hat-trick like that."
