Carlisle manager Paul Simpson pledged his team would pull out all the stops for a quick return next season.
"I have told the players it's a massive test of character how you bounce back," he said after their 1-1 draw with Cheltenham confirmed their relegation.
"It's all systems go because we have to get straight back out of the Conference and be stronger and better for it.
"The chairman and directors have stated that everything is in place for us to come back up."
Simpson added: "Our run since Christmas has been a superb effort.
"It's something to be proud of and we have got to make sure we continue that."
