Carlisle United manager Ian Atkins believes young striker Scott Dobie could be worth as much as £2m in the transfer market.

The talented Dobie has been linked with a move away from Carlisle but Atkins is keen to keep him.

Atkins said: "He's worth £2 million, but if he listens to me and keeps plugging away all season, he could be worth a lot more."

Dobie is reported to have attracted interest from Preston and Barnsley.
