Paul Quinn came through the youth ranks with Motherwell
Paul Quinn has been unveiled as Dave Jones' fifth summer signing after the Motherwell captain signed a three-year deal at Cardiff City.
The full-back joined for an estimated fee of £300,000 and is Cardiff's third defensive signing in three days.
"It's nice to get the deal done and I'm delighted to be here," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.
Quinn, Cardiff's sixth Scottish player, follows defensive duo Mark Hudson and Anthony Gerrard to join the Welsh club.
Goalkeeper David Marshall and striker Michal Chopra have also signed permanently for Cardiff this summer from Norwich and Sunderland respectively.
Quinn's arrival further bolsters the Bluebirds back-line following the signings of centre-backs Hudson from Charlton Athletic and Gerrard from Walsall.
Cardiff lost key centre-back Roger Johnson to Birmingham City after the Premier League new boys splashed out £5m for him while out of contract Darren Purse left for Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer.
