Cardiff manager Dave Jones has lifted the lid on the tough times of having to fight child abuse allegations.
Jones told BBC Radio Wales' The Back Page the difficulty of "baring his soul" in his new autobiography 'No Smoke, No Fire.'
"In this country, they always tell you that you're innocent until proven guilty. You're not," he said.
"You're guilty until you go and prove your innocence. That's what we had to do."
Jones, who was in charge of Southampton at the time of the allegations 10 years ago added: "As a footballer or sportsman playing at the top you live in a bubble.
"I came out of that bubble and into a world of the police and private detectives and CPS and court rooms and I wasn't used to that.
"It was a difficult time for all of the family because all of a sudden I've been accused of something.
"Probably the worst thing I could have been accused of was what they did [accuse me of].
"The one thing they wouldn't take away from me was my dignity."
