Former Cardiff City midfielder and club director George Edwards has died at the age of 87.
Edwards won 12 caps for Wales in the late 1940s during a career that also saw him play for Swansea, Coventry and Birmingham.
A Cardiff spokesman said: "George was a very influential player in the 1950s and was a key member of the team that won promotion to the top flight.
"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time."
