Cardiff defender Roger Johnson has signed a new long-term contract with the Championship club.
The 25-year-old still had a year to go on his current deal, but the Bluebirds wanted to hold on to their man who has been the subject of two £1m-plus bids.
Johnson enhanced his reputation last season with impressive performances, particularly in the Bluebirds' march to Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals.
"This is great news for the club," said Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale.
"Keeping a hold of our talented squad members is just as important to our progression and ambitions as signing new players."
Peter Whittingham, Paul Parry and Kevin McNaughton have all agreed new deals at Ninian Park.
