"It's so disappointing not be involved in that semi-final. When they got through to the final I just said to myself I've got to get there.
"I need to get some match fitness back and I'll give it my all to be the manager's plans."
There may be no promotion or relegation issue at stake on the back of the match but Parry insists Sunday will be a big day for all the Cardiff players.
"Everyone's going to want to play in the final so they've got to stake their claims as well as me," he explained.
"It's not just the final league game but perhaps the final thoughts for the manager to see who he wants to play in that final."
