City to face West Brom in the cup

Cardiff City will travel to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the Carling Cup.

Dave Jones side, reached the third round after 1-0 victories against League One opposition Brighton and Leyton Orient.

The Bluebirds are the sole remaining Welsh side in the competition with both Swansea City and Wrexham going out in the previous round.

Ties to be played week commencing 24 September.
