Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has been named as the Championship's manager of the month for August.
Jones has guided Cardiff to 13 points from their five league games
The Bluebirds have collected 13 league points from a possible 15 - beating Barnsley, Coventry, Leeds and Birmingham and drawing with West Brom.
City lead the early table by three points after five games, although they did lose to Barnet in the Carling Cup.
Other contenders were Norwich's Nigel Worthington, Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and Crystal Palace's Peter Taylor.
Jones, in his second season with Cardiff, said he accepted the award on behalf of everyone at the club.
"It is satisfying because it is in recognition that we are doing things right here at Ninian Park," he told the club's website.
"The lads have done everything right so far and they have bought into what we are trying to achieve.
"We hope that we get many more of these awards, because to do so obviously means you're doing the right thing - winning games."
