Canvey suffer Boylan injury blow

Canvey's leading scorer Lee Boylan is likely to be out of action for more than a month with a groin injury.

He has undergone surgery to clear up the problem and is expected to be ruled out for between four and six weeks.

The 27-year-old England non-league international is the Conference's top-scorer so far with five goals.

Boylan has scored 169 goals since moving to Canvey in August 2001, including 17 last season when he also missed almost three months with injury.
