Rendell scored in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Stevenage
Cambridge United have extended striker Scott Rendell's loan stay with the club until the end of the season.
The U's have settled their differences with Peterborough to secure a deal for the 22-year-old who has scored five goals in eight Cambridge appearances.
Posh director of football Barry Fry had earlier accused Cambridge of cancelling a cash offer for Rendell before trying to renegotiate the deal.
Rendell will now stay at the Abbey Stadium until the end of the season.
No recall clause has been included in the agreement.
