Cambridge chief executive to quit

Cambridge United

Cambridge United's chief executive Norman Gautrey will leave his post in September after a year in the job.

One of his roles has been to ensure the club's finances were stabilised.

Since Gautrey arrived at the Abbey Stadium, Phil Law has replaced Lee Power as chairman and Gary Brabin took over as manager from Jimmy Quinn.

U's chairman Phil Law told the club's website: "Norman has made a huge contribution to Cambridge United...we wish him every success in the future."
