Cambridge complete double swoop
Stacy Coldicott joins Cambridge on loan from Hereford
Coldicott has the experience Cambridge are looking for
Cambridge have made a double swoop, signing Stacy Coldicott from Hereford and striker Jamie Guy from Colchester.

U's boss Rob Newman missed out on a third capture after failing to land former Shrewsbury striker Duane Darby.

Coldicott, 31, joined Hereford from Grimsby last summer but only recently returned to action following a back injury and signs on a month's loan.

Guy, 18, made a handful of appearances for Colchester and returns to Cambridge on a work experience basis.

Bulls boss Graham Turner feels Coldicott's move should be beneficial to all parties.

"They're desperate for a midfield player - we've got that luxury of one or two to select from, and the possibility of another one coming in," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It gives me the opportunity to let him go to Cambridge and get some good quality matches in to get him to full match fitness.

"I would hope when he comes back in a month's time, he can still play a big part for us between now and the end of the season."
