Fans support U's ground petition
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire reports about 3,000 people have signed a petition urging Bideawhile Limited to sell the Abbey Stadium back to Cambridge United.

The petition has been set up by Cambridge fan Michael Langley.

He was outraged when Bideawhile, U's vice-chariman John Howard's company, recently turned down Johnny Hon's 2.2m offer to buy the ground for the club.

Bideawhile say they have long term plans to help the U's relocate to a new community stadium.
