Cambridge appoint Renard
Claude Le Roy
Le Roy led Cambridge to a form boost
Cambridge United have appointed Herve Renard as their new manager with Claude Le Roy becoming the club's first director of football.

Following ex-boss John Taylor's exit in March, the duo lost only one of their eight matches in charge.

Chairman Gary Harwood told the club website: "I'm pleased that I've reached agreement with Claude and Herve.

"Herve has become our new manager and we hope he'll build on the successful start that he had in the eight games."

Dale Brooks will be Renard's assistant manager with the other coaching positions at the club remaining unchanged.
