Murray makes U's switch
Cambridge have completed the signing of left-back Freddie Murray on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers on a permanent contract.
The Irishman has been a regular member of the Cambridge side since his arrival at the Abbey Stadium during his three month loan spell at the club. "There was interest in the boy so it was better to get it sealed," said Cambridge manager John Taylor. "He's got a good physique, he defends well, goes forward quite well at times, and he's got a good left foot. "If we can just add little things to his game he's going to be a very good left-back."
