Burton Albion have signed Wolves and England Under-19 left-back Scott Malone on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old, who spent time with Southend in League One last season, is likely to go straight into the side for Saturday's game against Bradford.
Regular left-backs Paul Boertien and Aaron Webster both have calf injuries.
Brewers manager Paul Peschisolido said: "Scott's a player of high quality. He was in League One last season and is with the England Under-19 set up."
Peschisolido added: "I've spoken with Mick McCarthy and he was keen to send him here to get some more games."
Burton Albion have also taken former Ilkeston Town goalkeeper Kyle Clancy on a non-contract deal to act as cover for Adam Legzdins and Kevin Poole.
