Burton Albion boss Roy McFarland says two home wins in their next two games would go a long towards securing promotion from the Blue Square Premier.
Histon's draw with Stevenage means the Brewers will be at least eight points clear of their three nearest rivals even if they win their games in hand.
"We have two home games we need to take advantage of," said McFarland ahead of games against Grays and Kettering.
"If we can, then it will put us in a very strong position."
Even if Histon win all 10 remaining games, McFarland's men would clinch the title with six wins from their last eight games - five of which are at home.
And the Brewers manager was delighted with his side's return to form after a worrying week.
"We have come away with six points in a week," he added.
"We lost nine points in the previous week, so to take maximum points is a major plus for us."
