Clough to ring changes in Shield

Burton Albion manager Nigel Clough has promised plenty of changes for the Setanta Shield tie at home to Kidderminster on Tuesday.

Clough told BBC Radio Derby he will use the game to keep fringe players fit.

Striker Paris Simmons, who is on loan from Derby County, is expected to feature after making his Burton debut against Ebbsfleet on Saturday.

Clough said: "He needs games now as he's been out for six weeks, so he'll certainly start again."

"He's got that little bit of quality, we saw that in glimpses on Saturday.

"Considering it was his first game for a good few weeks, we were pretty pleased," Clough said.
