Clough's side travel to Cambridge for the second leg on Tuesday
Burton Albion boss Nigel Clough is hoping for a much-improved defensive display when they take on Cambridge United in the Blue Square play-offs.
The Brewers have conceded eight goals in their last two games against Kidderminster and Exeter.
And Clough told BBC Radio Derby they must improve against the U's on Friday.
He said: "Hopefully we've got our two dodgy defensive performances out of the way. We will have to defend much better but we will be as positive as we can."
