Burnley star Cummings dies at 80

Former Burnley captain Tommy Cummings has died at the age of 80.

The centre-half, who won three England B caps, was a key member of the Clarets team that won the First Division title in 1960.

He made 434 league appearances for Burnley, making his debut in 1948 and playing his final match in 1962.

Cummings went on to manage Mansfield Town, steering them to the Division Four title in 1963, he also had a 16-month spell in charge of Aston Villa.
