Championship leaders Wigan Athletic have been rebuffed in another bid for Burnley striker Robbie Blake.
Blake has been in good goalscoring form for Burnley this season
Wigan have now raised their offer for the 28-year-old Clarets' skipper to £700,000 but have met with a negative response from Turf Moor.
"We have had another offer for Robbie, which myself and the chairman have spoken about and turned down," said chief executive Dave Edmundson.
Blake also recently attracted an offer from former club Nottingham Forest.
The 11-goal striker has also opened talks about a possible contract extension at Burnley.
