FA await Burnley response
The Football Association has asked Burnley to clarify reports of missile throwing by their fans in the game against Reading.

An object landed close to Royals goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann and referee Roy Pearson mentioned the incident in his match report.

The FA will now wait for Burnley's response before deciding what action to take.

"We have written to Burnley and asked for their observations and we will then decide how to proceed," confirmed an FA spokesman.

Meanwhile, Burnley have enforced 18 further life bans on individuals guilty of football related offences at home and away matches.
