Bristol Rovers have confirmed that they have turned down a bid from Southend United for striker Junior Agogo.
Agogo is a Ghanian international
The 26-year-old has a clause in his contract allowing him to speak to other clubs if an acceptable bid is received.
Director of football Lennie Lawrence told BBC Radio Bristol: "Nobody is anywhere near (our valuation) yet. And I'd much rather he stayed here.
"He's attracting quite a bit of interest and I'd be surprised if other clubs don't involve themselves."
