Pirates keen on Matthews
Bristol Rovers caretaker manager Phil Bater is keen to turn Lee Matthews' loan move from Bristol City into a permanent transfer.

The 25-year-old striker is currently at the Memorial Stadium for a month.

Bater said: "He's a very good player and we'd definitely be interested in him long-term as well as short-term.

"That is out of my hands at the moment until the managerial situation here is sorted but he has done very well and we are yet to see the best of him."
