Bristol City have signed Tottenham defender Steven Caulker on a youth loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old will stay at Ashton Gate until the end of the season unless Spurs invoke a recall clause that becomes active after 28 days.
The centre-half has represented England at Under-19s level and had a loan spell at Yeovil last season.
Caulker made his first-team debut for Spurs in their 4-1 Carling Cup third round defeat by Arsenal.
Under the rules of the youth loan, Caulker will still be allowed to train with Spurs and play reserve-team matches for the Premier League side.

City boss Keith Millen told BBC Radio Bristol: "He's very athletic, quick and has got a fantastic attitude.
"I think Danny Rose has put in a good word for us and it's good that we've got a good working relationship now with Tottenham.
"Tottenham have got high hopes for him to become a Premier League defender and hopefully we can improve him and he can do well for us."
Caulker said: "Hopefully, we can progress as a team.
"It's a good club with a good squad. They could do well. Hopefully, I can add to them and they can help me as well.
"Championship football is a lot quicker, so it's going to be a challenge but I'm looking forward to it."
