Bristol City have announced Tristan Plummer, Frankie Artus and Ashley Kington will be released.

City will continue to play the youngsters in reserve games in an attempt to help them find new clubs.

Caretaker manager Keith Millen said: "We're speaking to a number of clubs about their availability and hopefully they'll all find deals elsewhere."

All three players came through the Bristol City academy but failed to make any first-team appearances.

Millen added: "I spoke to all of them and I told them it was a club decision not just my decision.

"We just felt that if they are not going to be pushing for our first team, which they haven't been this season, it's in their interests to go and get games elsewhere."
