Bristol City defender Bradley Orr has said he has been inspired by the quality of the football at the 2008 European Championships.
The 25-year-old watched the tournament and said he was impressed by Spain's right-back Sergio Ramos.
Orr told BBC Radio Bristol: "You watch your own position and how they go about things, the one that caught my eye was Spain's Ramos.
"He is an absolute athlete, is good on the ball and was very rarely beaten."
Orr added: "You take bits and bobs from each player and try and learn from the best."

However the 25-year-old has no plans to emulate the Spaniard's shoulder-length hair and head band as he quipped: "I've just had a skinhead for pre-season to keep me cool.
"I wish I was half as good looking as he is but I am just concentrating on the football."
