Bristol City boss Gary Johnson was disappointed to see fans leaving Ashton Gate early after their 2-1 FA Cup defeat by Middlesbrough on Saturday.

He told BBC Radio Bristol: "The ground was only three-quarters full when there was still five or six minutes to go.

"We really appreciate the fans coming here but we need their support for 90 or 93 minutes.

"It is soul destroying sometimes when you want to give it a big push and you see half the crowd leaving."
