Bristol City's Jamie McAllister says his side will be able to handle the pressure if they go top of the table.
City would have gone above Nottingham Forest with a win at the weekend, but could not hold on to their half-time lead in the 1-1 draw at Brentford.
"It's a different kind of pressure but one you thrive on, but we didn't handle it well this week," the defender told BBC Radio Bristol.
"We were up for it at half-time but we left it in the dressing room."
